Without insurance you can't enter: new rules for entering Poland for Ukrainians
It is very important for Ukrainians in Poland to have medical insurance before the trip. This is a mandatory requirement for all travelers, regardless of the type of trip - whether it is a short visit or a long stay.
A standard insurance policy for 3-30 days covers the costs of medical assistance, hospitalization, surgeries, and other services. In the case of a long stay in Poland, the insurance must be at least 30,000 euros and valid for 3 months.
Border control emphasizes that even minor defects in documents can lead to a denial of entry into the country.
The document with medical insurance must be from a Ukrainian insurance company and have an English or Polish translation. All data in it must exactly match the information in the passport and visa.
It is also important to remember the new rules for the stay of Ukrainians in Poland.
Ukrainians are warned that without medical insurance, they may be denied entry to Poland. It is necessary to have an insurance policy for emergency medical assistance and to comply with all requirements regarding the duration of validity and coverage of the policy.
