A Fly Helped the Golfer Win $1.45 Million: How It Happened

According to glavcom.ua: During the BMW Championship tournament in the US state of Maryland, golfer Tommy Fleetwood received help from a fly. The insect landed on the ball, which stopped just a few millimeters from the hole. Thanks to its push, the ball rolled into the target.

As a result of the tournament, Tommy Fleetwood finished in fourth place and received a bonus of $1.45 million, adding to his prize money of $728,750. Overall, Ukraine entered the top 10 of the overall medal standings of the European Youth Olympic Festival, winning 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals. This is the second most successful performance of the Ukrainian team at this tournament, tied with 2019 when they won 25 awards.
