Over the last decade, the number of trolleybuses on Kyiv routes has nearly halved. In 2016, about 450 vehicles operated daily on the lines, but now only approximately 240 remain. Specialists associate this trend not only with the war but also with long-standing issues related to the renewal and maintenance of rolling stock. This is noted by Hmarochos.
