The Government Launches Ukrainian-American Fund: Billions for Reconstruction

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a resolution on the establishment of the American-Ukrainian Investment Fund, which defines the rules of cooperation between Ukrainian and American businesses in the areas of subsoil use and infrastructure.

'We are forming clear, predictable, and mutually beneficial conditions for investments in strategic sectors such as the extraction and processing of critical minerals, energy, infrastructure, and high technology,' said Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine Yegor Perelygin.

The United States will increase capital in the fund through military aid, which will contribute to supporting Ukraine, and Ukraine, in turn, will allocate part of the future revenue from the new rent to the fund, making it an important source of capital.

The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the establishment of the American-Ukrainian Investment Fund is intended to create transparent conditions for investments in strategic sectors of the Ukrainian economy and provide additional sources of capital for the country's development.
