Assailants of 'Aidar' Regiment Soldiers Apprehended
According to Главком: Two individuals have been detained in the city of Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk region, for assaulting soldiers from the 24th Separate Assault Battalion 'Aidar'. One of the attackers is a suspect under an article for hooliganism, and a court has ordered a pre-trial detention measure, remanding them into custody.
The assailants were identified as a serviceman who had deserted his unit and a civilian. The Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Eastern Region released information about the detentions. During the incident, one of the attackers was intoxicated. He fired at the soldiers' vehicle at least four times with an object resembling a pistol and smashed the vehicle's windshield and front side window with the object's handle. The other participant in the assault opened the front passenger door and struck one of the servicemen in the face.

The attack resulted in minor bodily injuries to the victim, specifically a contusion of the soft tissues of the nose. At the time of the assault, the servicemen were off-duty. In addition to the two detainees, four other individuals were present at the scene, and their possible involvement is being considered.
