The Most Popular Flight Destinations from Airports in Poland

In 2025, Polish airports served a record 66.1 million passengers. This was reported by the Civil Aviation Authority of Poland (ULC). inPoland reports.

According to the agency, passenger traffic increased by nearly 12% compared to the previous year, and the growth rate of the Polish aviation market exceeded the average indicators across Europe.

What Destinations Became the Most Popular Among Poles

The route to the United Kingdom had the highest demand among regular international flights in 2025.

In just the fourth quarter, Polish airports served over 2 million passengers on flights between Poland and the United Kingdom.

The top three most popular countries also included:

  • Italy;

  • Spain.

Among cities, the highest passenger traffic was recorded on flights to:

  • London;

  • Milan;

  • Rome;

  • Oslo;

  • Amsterdam.

Destinations to Paris, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Barcelona, and Munich were also popular.

Which Countries Became Leaders in Charter Flights

In the charter transportation segment, the highest demand was for tourist flights to:

  • Turkey;

  • Egypt;

  • Greece.

During the winter season, the most passengers flew to Egypt, Turkey, and Spain.

Overall, in 2025, more than 10 million people used charter flights, making it one of the best results in recent years.

What is Known About the Growth of Poland's Aviation Market

The Civil Aviation Authority of Poland noted that in 2025, not only the number of passengers increased, but also the average flight distance and aircraft capacity.

The number of seats offered by airlines increased by more than 11% year-on-year.

In just the fourth quarter of 2025, Polish airports served 15.1 million passengers, which is also 12% more than the previous year.

It should be noted that Polish airports are strengthening their positions as a key departure point for Ukrainians, while European low-cost carriers Ryanair and Wizz Air have announced new routes and the expansion of their bases.
