Norway will allocate an additional 15 billion crowns to Ukraine: what the funds will be spent on

According to hvylya.net: The Norwegian government is increasing its financial support for Ukraine for the next year. 15 billion Norwegian crowns will be sent to Ukraine to help raise the total amount of aid to 85 billion crowns, which is equivalent to about 8.6 billion dollars.

In particular, this amount will be used for civilian assistance, such as lighting and heating homes, supporting hospitals and schools, as well as helping people living near the front lines. Part of the funds will also go towards military support, equipment and training for the military, purchasing Ukrainian equipment, and enhancing defense capabilities.

The Norwegian Minister of Defense, Tore Sandvik, noted: 'The government will continue to provide equipment and training to Ukrainian servicemen. We will also strengthen efforts in the Coalition for Maritime Military Support to Ukraine, purchasing equipment from the Ukrainian defense industry and strengthening priority capabilities.'

If the Norwegian parliament approves the budget project, the total amount of aid to Ukraine from Norway will reach 275 billion Norwegian crowns by 2030. This is an important step to support Ukraine in the context of its rapid development and needs in civilian and defense areas.
