According to hvylya.net: The Cyberpolice Department in our country draws attention to new fraudulent schemes that are actively practiced on well-known online platforms. Dangerous criminals use phishing to extract personal information through popular messengers.
Recently, there has been an increase in reports of cyber fraud on popular online platforms. Among the most common schemes is phishing via messengers. We urge you to be cautious and not to share your personal information with unknown individuals.
Experts emphasize that the most common scheme involves scammers contacting the seller via messenger, pretending to be interested in the product. During the communication, they try to obtain personal data. They then send a link to a fake website, where they ask to enter all the bank card details.
The Ukrainian cyberpolice advises being vigilant and avoiding excessive trust in strangers during online sales to prevent fraud and loss of funds.
