According to glavcom.ua: In occupied Crimea, the movement of electric and hybrid vehicles has been banned due to the Crimean Bridge. This ban started on November 3 and will last "until further notice". Both decrees were signed respectively by the heads of Crimea and Krasnodar Krai.

The relevant decrees were signed by the Kremlin-appointed "head" of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, and the governor of Krasnodar Krai, Veniamin Kondratiev, on October 30 and 31.

Russian officials explain the ban by the threat of terrorism, claiming that the traction batteries of the vehicles may be suspicious. Aksyonov himself emphasizes that this restriction is intended to ensure safety, referring to the recommendations of law enforcement agencies.

Heating problems in Crimea

In temporarily occupied Crimea, the start of the heating season has been unsuccessful: residents complain about the lack of heat, and utility services are unable to quickly resolve issues with heating networks.

According to local activists, in Simferopol, they began to promise to restore heating as early as October 20, but by October 26, many houses and streets remained without heat.

After the ban on the movement of electric vehicles over the Crimean Bridge due to the threat of terrorism, problems with heating also arose in occupied Crimea. Residents complain about the lack of heat, and utility services are unable to fix the damage to the heating networks in time.
