Kyiv risks being left without heating until December: reason named

Experts have focused their attention on the crisis situation with heating supply in Kyiv. According to Oleg Popenko, it is necessary to urgently repair 800 kilometers of heating networks, but the work is progressing very slowly. The lack of heat may become a problem for some residents of the capital, who may be left without heating as early as autumn.

Popenko also noted that despite the start of the heating season on November 1, heating may appear with delays in some areas of Kyiv due to technical or operational issues. Additionally, the presence of over 300 buildings that have not been put into operation complicates the situation regarding heating supply. Currently, the exact timing of the start of the heating season in Kyiv remains in question.
