According to Міністерство інфраструктури: Sense Bank has become the tenth banking partner of the SvitloDIM program, which enables co-ownership associations of apartment buildings (OSBBs), housing cooperatives, and building managers to open designated accounts for receiving state aid aimed at improving building energy resilience. The initiative currently operates in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and Kharkiv region.
Under the program, OSBBs can qualify for financial support in the following amounts:
- 100,000 UAH for buildings up to 6 floors;

Funds received through the program can be used to purchase generators, inverters, batteries, battery management systems, and solar panels.
Applications can be submitted online via the Diia portal at svitlodim.gov.ua. Once the application is approved by the Ministry of Development’s commission, the funds are transferred within 48 hours.
Program Objective
The SvitloDIM program aims to support the energy resilience of residential buildings in Ukraine, a particularly pressing issue amid ongoing energy challenges. By bringing in additional banking partners like Sense Bank, the program expands opportunities for OSBBs and improves access to state assistance. This could positively impact the quality of life for apartment building residents by providing them with the necessary resources to adopt energy-saving technologies.
As residential associations increasingly seek funding for energy-efficient upgrades, a recent report highlights how Kyiv residents have successfully raised over 15 million UAH for building improvements through their condo associations. This trend underscores the growing importance of community initiatives in enhancing living conditions and energy resilience.
