Increase in the average salary for pension calculations in Ukraine

In Ukraine, the average salary figure for pension calculations has increased. On November 25, 2025, a new figure was approved, which is 21,578 hryvnias and 46 kopecks. This figure reflects the increase in the average salary that has occurred since the beginning of the year.

Since the beginning of the year, the average salary figure for pension calculations has increased by more than 2,918 hryvnias. For comparison, the average salary in September was:

• 21,190 hryvnias and 31 kopecks
• In August - 19,813 hryvnias and 71 kopeck
• In July - 20,455 hryvnias and 65 kopecks
• In June - 22,336 hryvnias and 81 kopeck

The average salary for pension calculations in May was:

• 20,355 hryvnias and 40 kopecks
• In April - 19,856 hryvnias and 19 kopecks
• In March - 19,430 hryvnias and 52 kopecks
• In February - 18,589 hryvnias and 38 kopecks
• In January - 18,660 hryvnias and 32 kopecks

Thus, these figures indicate a positive trend in the increase of average salary, which will directly affect the pension calculations in Ukraine.
