According to hvylya.net: The Pension Fund of Ukraine announced the completion of funding for social benefits as of September 18, 2025, and approved the budget for the next year.

According to the PFU, 49.8 billion hryvnias were allocated for pension payments, of which 8.6 billion were transferred through 'Ukrposhta', and 41.2 billion - through authorized banks. 1.145 billion hryvnias were allocated for housing subsidies and benefits.

Insurance payments amounted to 2.33 billion hryvnias, including 1.12 billion for sick leave. In addition, various types of state assistance received 7.49 billion hryvnias, and one-time assistance 'School Kit' received 355.8 million.

Approved budget for 2025

The government adopted resolution No. 1152, which approved the PFU budget for 2025. The fund's income amounts to 1 trillion 25.2 billion hryvnias. Of this, 858.8 billion comes from mandatory pension insurance, 42.9 billion from social insurance for temporary loss of capacity to work and from accidents at work.

Another 117.3 billion hryvnias will come from the state budget to ensure social payments. Fund expenditures are planned at 1 trillion 20.9 billion hryvnias. These funds account for the carrying out of pension and insurance payment indexations in 2025, as well as additional payments and recalculations.

The PFU budget for 2025 is balanced, the institution reported.
