Фахівці пояснили причини призупинення підтримки для родин з великим числом дітей.

Recently, there has been a common issue where families receive government assistance for funds they actually do not have the right to. And now it has turned out that such excessive payments must be returned to the state budget. The agency 'Hvylya' reported that this information was disclosed by the press service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

The conditions under which the payment of assistance to large families is terminated include the following points:

  • deprivation of parental rights;
  • improper use of funds or poor child care;
  • taking a child without deprivation of parental rights;
  • transfer of a child to state custody or an orphanage;
  • legal imprisonment of the assistance recipient;
  • loss of the status of a large family;
  • death of the recipient or the child.

How the process of returning overpaid funds works:

If a large family provides false or hidden data, the authorized body determines the amount of compensation and the terms for its return. The money can be returned independently, agreed upon, or by decision of the relevant authority.

  • full compensation by the recipient;
  • agreed return in full without further payments;
  • relative compensation - no more than 20% of the monthly assistance.

If it is impossible to return the money, there are special procedures for its collection according to legal requirements. Such news is important information for everyone receiving assistance from the government who wants to avoid unpleasant situations in the future.
