Yurii Bodnaryuk was killed by a kamikaze drone: the story of a Hero from Bukovyna

Yurii Bodnaryuk was killed by a drone strike on March 18, 2023. His life was full of distinguished service and volunteering, as he always helped those in need.

Life and Service of the Hero

Yurii Bodnaryuk, born in 1980, was a hardworking and dedicated Ukrainian. Before serving in the army, he actively helped in public organizations and volunteer projects.

During the Revolution of Dignity, he proved to be a true patriot, helping to provide fighters with humanitarian aid and supporting our army at the front.

Hero's Last Days

After sustaining an injury, Yurii did not abandon his duties, continuing to work at the front. Tragically, his life was cut short as a result of a drone strike. He was buried with honor in his native village, leaving his family with broken hearts.

'Glavkom' honors the memory of the hero and all who died in the war for independence. Memory candles are lit for those who sacrificed their lives for the future of Ukraine.
