Weather in October: when to expect the first noticeable cooling in Ukraine

According to hvylya.net: In October, the air temperature in Ukraine will slightly exceed normal indicators - +7-13 degrees is expected. The most significant cooling will occur at the end of the month. As for precipitation, 31-77 mm of rain is expected, and in mountainous areas more - 51-101 mm.

The turning point will come in the last days of October when the temperature drops below +8 degrees. Cooling will arrive earlier in the north, then in the south, and in some parts of Transcarpathia.

The average temperature this month ranges from +6 to +13 degrees, in the Carpatians it can be +4-5 degrees. The absolute minimum for October is from -5 to -16 degrees, and the maximum is from +26 to +34 degrees.

• In the northern, central, eastern regions and in the Carpathians, there may be places with temperatures from -17 to -23 degrees, and in Crimea from 0 to -3 degrees.
• The warmest areas are Zaporizhia, Crimea, and the high peaks of the Carpathians.

The average amount of precipitation in October is 29-54 mm.

The weather forecast for October promises slightly warmer weather than usual, but with cooling in the second half of the month. Adequate precipitation is also expected, especially in mountainous areas. It is useful to have an umbrella handy during this period.
