Poland has announced its intention to stop accepting new refugees from Ukraine and to focus on the integration of Ukrainians who already live in the country. This decision was made known following the statement by the head of the Bureau of International Policy at the President of Poland, Marcin Przydacz.Currently, about 1.5 million Ukrainians live in Poland, but only 26,000 people have obtained Polish citizenship in the last five years. This may cause integration issues and lead to the formation of isolated migrant neighborhoods, complicating the adaptation process. The Polish government plans to focus on the social adaptation of those already residing in the country to avoid future social problems.
