Warned about the Hague Tribunal: Deyneko spoke about the meeting with the Belarusian border guard
Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Serhii Deyneko met with the chairman of the State Border Committee of Belarus Anatolii Lappo on February 19.
Deyneko informed Lappo that Ukraine is aware of the plans of the aggressor state, the Russian Federation, for an invasion. The head of the State Border Guard Service shared this information during a telethon.
'I tried to express my attitude towards him as diplomatically as possible. This was related to the fact that five days before the start of the full-scale aggression, on February 19, I had a meeting with him to carry out the order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the President of Ukraine. I conveyed to him the information we have. I warned him that we are informed about Russia's plans for an armed invasion of Ukraine,' Deyneko said.

Deyneko told Lappo that if the Belarusians allow this, both the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and Lappo himself 'will inevitably end up in the dock at the Hague Tribunal.'
'I know he received this letter. Because the internationalists of the border committee of Belarus reached out to our internationalists, clarifying whether this was a fake. My officers confirmed that the letter is real, please consider it,' he said.
The head of the State Border Guard Service said that since February 19, he has not had any contacts with Lappo.
Since the beginning of the full-scale aggression, Russia has used the territory of Belarus as a springboard for attacks on Ukraine. On February 24, Russian invaders advanced from there. To conduct airstrikes against Ukraine, the Russian army involved almost all airfields in Belarus.
