The Death of Oleksii Nazarchuk: The Story of a Warrior Whose Ashes Were Scattered Over the Cold Yar

Fan of the Kropyvnytskyi team 'Zirka', Oleksii Nazarchuk was killed on October 9, 2024, in Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region, defending Ukraine. His ashes were scattered over the Cold Yar. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the Heroes' Tribune.

Oleksii Nazarchuk was born in the village of Pishchanyi Brid in the Novoukrainka district on March 30, 1997. The young man was passionate about football, weapons, and studied history. He actively participated in football and patriotic events.

Fritz was a true brash and buccaneer, who enjoyed any adventure, being a Volcano in soul and life.

Oleksii Nazarchuk served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and participated in combat operations. He died on October 9, 2024, while carrying out a combat mission near Chasiv Yar.

On May 18, 2025, a relief sculpture of Oleksii was unveiled in Cold Yar, which became a symbol of eternal memory of the warrior. His deed is now honored among the best.
