New Hryvnia coins about Crimea and Donbas: what they symbolize and when they can be obtained

The Government of Ukraine has introduced new circulating commemorative coins with a face value of 10 hryvnias, honoring the unity and territorial integrity of the country. The series of coins titled 'We are strong. We are together' is dedicated to the regions that have become victims of Russian aggression, namely Crimea and Donbas.

Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko noted that the Ukrainian constitution enshrines the choice to live in an independent state, and this choice is protected by the Ukrainian armed forces. This indicates that Ukraine remains an indivisible country.

On the anniversary of the All-Ukrainian referendum, we emphasize the importance of unity for preserving the territorial integrity of the country. Ukrainians have learned that the strength of the country depends on its military power, state institutions, economic self-sufficiency, and unity.
