Zelensky Awards Golden Stars to DSF Heroes: Who Received the Highest Award

According to glavcom.ua: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky honored the soldiers of the Airborne Assault Forces on the occasion of their professional holiday, awarding them state medals and combat flags. Zelensky expressed gratitude to the military for their service and emphasized the important role they play in battles and operations for the defense of Ukraine.

“Every unit of the Ukrainian Airborne Assault Forces is our pride and independence. It is thanks to soldiers like you and your comrades that Ukraine is and will always remain independent and capable of defending itself,” Zelensky said.

The list of those awarded the orders of «Golden Star» and «Cross of Combat Merit» includes Colonel Oleg Zmyslyi, Lieutenant Colonel Kostiantyn Revutskiy, Private Vyacheslav Tkachenko, and Sergeant Dmitro Shavaldin.

The Day of the Airborne Assault Forces is an important symbol of the heroism and resilience of soldiers who care for the security and defense capability of the country. From now on, this holiday will be celebrated annually on November 8 in accordance with the decree of the President of Ukraine.
