The following locations are temporarily suspended until quarantine measures are lifted: Novopyrohivska Street, 25/2-29 in Holosiivskyi District, as well as Petra Kalnyshevskoho Street, 1-5 and Iordanska Street, 1-9 in Obolonskyi District. In addition to these weekend markets, Kyiv residents can also visit the city's permanent municipal markets: KP Volodymyrskyi Market at Antonovycha Street, 115; KP Zhytnii Market at Verkhnii Val Street, 16; and KP Bessarabskyi Market at Bessarabska Square, 2.

Separately, Ukraine is experiencing a notable increase in potato prices. Since the beginning of the week, the average price for potatoes has risen by approximately 17%. Domestic producers are currently offering potatoes within a range of 7 to 14 UAH per kilogram, depending on quality, variety, and order size. The current average price is 17% higher than it was the previous week.

Organizing these farmers' markets in Kyiv is a crucial initiative for ensuring public access to fresh food, particularly amid rising prices for staple goods like potatoes.

As quarantine restrictions continue to impact commerce, such markets serve as an important tool for supporting local producers and maintaining the population's access to quality products. The spike in potato prices further underscores the relevance of these markets for stabilizing the city's food supply.
