Ukraine launches AI Factory: how its own infrastructure will change government services

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine is launching the AI Factory project (Sovereign Artificial Intelligence Factory) to develop government AI services. This infrastructure will allow processing requests faster and storing data in Ukraine, ensuring a level of security. Among the priority services of AI Factory will be the creation of an AI assistant in Diia and Mrii, with future plans for implementation in the fields of defense, medicine, and scientific research. The infrastructure will include technical means, software, data, and programs for training specialists who will create and implement AI products for the government and defense. The use of its own infrastructure will open up the possibility of processing data in Ukraine, ensuring cybersecurity and simplifying the process of launching new AI products. It will also contribute to regulating the load on data centers by the state.
