According to Главком: Russian forces have targeted a DTEK energy facility in the Odesa region, causing significant damage and leaving several communities partially without power. Repair crews are working around the clock at the attack site, but full restoration is expected to take a considerable amount of time.

On the night of February 10, Russian invaders launched another strike against the energy infrastructure of the Odesa region. This attack resulted in partial power outages for settlements across three communities. Critical infrastructure objects were switched to backup generator power. Due to the situation, stricter power outage schedules will be in effect on February 10-11, and the state will intensify its control over electricity disconnections.

Government and DTEK Company Actions

Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal has instructed the State Energy Supervision Authority to conduct inspections to assess the consequences of the attack. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held an expanded meeting via conference call regarding the aftermath of strikes on the energy system from February 7. The most critical situation persists in Kyiv and six settlements in the Kherson region, where constant drone attacks are complicating network repairs.

The press service of DTEK reported: 'We are currently working on-site: clearing the debris. We will do everything possible to eliminate the consequences of the attack as quickly as possible.'

The situation remains tense, and company employees continue their efforts to restore the energy facilities.
