Drone Attack on Odesa

According to Зеленський: A major Russian drone assault targeted the city of Odesa, with officials confirming 52 drones were deployed. The attack, which focused on the city center near the Privoz market, resulted in impacts both in Odesa and the surrounding region despite Ukrainian forces shooting down most of the incoming drones. Rescue operations and clearing debris are currently ongoing. This attack is part of a wider pattern of strikes on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure.

Strikes in Kharkiv and Kyiv

Separately, Kharkiv and its region came under fire from Russian multiple launch rocket systems. The bombardment struck an energy facility, causing significant damage. Repair crews from Ukraine's State Emergency Service, Ukrenergo, and Kharkivoblenergo are working continuously on restoration efforts.

In Kyiv, 926 apartment buildings in several left-bank districts remained without heating as of this morning. The Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Internal Affairs are deploying additional generators to improve the situation, drawing on reserves from across Ukraine. Reports on the situation in the Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia regions were also presented.

The recent events underscore the ongoing military conflict in Ukraine and its severe impact on urban infrastructure, particularly in Odesa and Kharkiv. Authorities are actively responding by organizing rescue work and providing energy support to affected regions, highlighting the critical need for effective resource management and emergency preparedness during wartime.
