Ukraine Endures Major Russian Barrage

According to Главком: In a large-scale overnight assault on March 14, Russia targeted Ukraine with a combined wave of drones and missiles, focusing its attack on the energy infrastructure of the Kyiv region. The attack resulted in the deaths of four people and left numerous civilians wounded. Residential buildings, schools, and civilian enterprises were damaged. Emergency services are currently working to address the consequences of the strikes in the Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Mykolaiv regions.

According to reports, Russian forces used approximately 430 drones of various types and 68 missiles, 13 of which were ballistic. Preliminary data indicates that Ukraine's air defense systems managed to intercept 58 of the missiles. In a separate incident in the Kharkiv region, a drone struck a commuter train; the passengers were unharmed, but the driver and assistant driver sustained shrapnel wounds. Additionally, in the Kryvyi Rih district, a drone attack on a station damaged a locomotive, though the crew had been evacuated in advance and no casualties were reported.
