Russia launched the most powerful strike on Ukraine's gas infrastructure
According to glavcom.ua: Russian troops carried out the largest combined strike on Ukraine's gas production facilities since the beginning of the full-scale war. Facilities in Kharkiv and Poltava were affected, with some damage being critical, and efforts to eliminate the consequences are ongoing. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the head of the board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, Serhiy Korytsky.
Today morning, Russian troops attacked gas production facilities in Kharkiv and Poltava, using 35 missiles, among which a significant number were ballistic, as well as 60 drones. Some of the attacks were repelled, however, some facilities sustained significant damage.
«This is the largest mass attack on our gas production infrastructure since the beginning of the full-scale war», – said Serhiy Korytsky.
As noted by the board chairman, this attack is a targeted terror against civilian facilities that provide gas extraction and preparation for the needs of the population. The enemy's goal is to disrupt the heating season and complicate life for Ukrainians in winter.
