Russia has changed its tactics for strikes on energy infrastructure: AI drones and swarms to destroy air defense
This tactic differs from previous years as the attacks have become more systematic and effective. Russian forces choose a specific strategy, concentrate on targets, and gradually eliminate them through targeted strikes.
Energy expert Viktor Kurtev reported that Russia has shifted from chaotic shelling to concentrated attacks on Ukrainian facilities using the latest technologies. In particular, Russian forces are now using 'swarms' of drones with elements of artificial intelligence that first destroy Ukrainian anti-aircraft positions before the main strike.
One of the innovations has been the use of 'swarm' kamikaze drones. The drones maneuver and approach strategic sites, after which some of them destroy Ukrainian anti-air defense positions, while others attack the target unimpeded.
According to expert Viktor Kurtev, the Russian army has changed its tactics for attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, moving from chaotic actions to more planned and effective operations, utilizing the latest technologies and drones with artificial intelligence elements. These changes indicate an enhancement in the military methods of the Russian army in this direction.
