According to hvylya.net: Slovakia has refused to use frozen Russian assets to fund the needs of the Ukrainian army - this news was announced by Prime Minister Robert Fico. According to him, financial assistance is planned, which means the continuation of the war at least until 2027.

Fico also stated that Slovakia would not interfere with any legal or financial schemes for the confiscation of frozen assets if these funds are used for the needs of the Ukrainian army. He also linked the amount of financial assistance to the duration of the conflict, claiming that providing €140 billion for armaments means at least two more years of war.

In the statement of the Prime Minister of Slovakia, there is a refusal to use Russian assets to finance the military needs of Ukraine and the associated hope for a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
