Egg prices in Ukraine will rise again: how much prices will increase in December

Prices for chicken eggs continue to rise sharply, which is becoming a serious problem for Ukrainian consumers. The cost of the product can vary significantly in different stores, drawing consumers' attention to the need to carefully monitor prices.

According to monitoring of retail chains in Kyiv, egg prices range between 52.90 and 114 hryvnias per dozen, depending on the brand, quality, and packaging of the product. In 'Silpo', you can buy the cheapest 'Yasensvit' eggs for 59.33 UAH per dozen, while in 'Varus', the second category costs 52.90 UAH per dozen.

Experts predict that prices will remain stable until the end of November, but an increase of 15-20% is expected starting in December. The main reasons are increased production costs and energy instability, which may lead to higher production costs.
