According to Главком: A bird flu outbreak has been recorded in the Netherlands at a laying hen farm located in the municipality of Wylre, Limburg province. As a result of this incident, approximately 100 thousand hens were destroyed. This is already the second case of a bird flu outbreak in a week, raising concerns among farmers and veterinarians.

Additional safety measures are being implemented on the farm and on farms within a 3 km radius to prevent the spread of the virus. It is noted that 10 poultry farms are under enhanced control for the next two weeks. Since the beginning of December, the national authorities of the Netherlands have banned the release of poultry outdoors, which has become part of their efforts to combat bird flu outbreaks.

Bird flu outbreaks are also being observed in Germany, the Czech Republic, and other European countries. In France, it is believed that the bird flu virus may pose a threat to humanity. Additionally, the first death from bird flu H5N5 has been recorded in the United States, and a new strain of bird flu H5N is spreading in Germany.
