Singer LAUD told Slava Dyomin about the attack on his house in Kyiv
Singer LAUD (Vlad Karashchuk) shared that he and his girlfriend experienced a Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of July 2, while in an underground parking lot. The artist admitted that this time he decided to go down to the shelter in advance due to a strong premonition, which, according to him, could have saved his life. He mentioned this in an interview with Slava Dyomin.

According to the performer, he and his girlfriend always go down to the parking lot during massive night attacks, but this time the feeling of danger was particularly strong.
The artist canceled his morning workout, prepared for a long night, and went to the shelter with his loved ones even before the most powerful strikes.
«There was some kind of intuition. We decided to go down in advance. Then I heard a very strong explosion. I have never heard anything like it. It was clear that it was very close», – said LAUD.
After the most dangerous phase of the attack ended, the singer returned to the residential complex and saw the aftermath of the explosion. According to him, many apartments had their windows blown out or destroyed, and the building opposite suffered significant damage.

LAUD reported that his rented apartment was slightly damaged. The windows need to be replaced, and inside the room, there remained dust, pieces of plaster, and dirt.
After the attack, he contacted a special office organized by law enforcement to file documents for compensation for the damaged property. According to the singer, the landlord assured that all the damages would be repaired.
The situation near the damaged building struck the artist the most.
«Everything looked terrible. Cars were burned, rescuers were working. We saw an elderly woman, about 90 years old. Her apartment had its balcony and windows blown out, she was sitting on the street and didn’t know what to do», – he shared.
Despite everything he experienced, LAUD went on stage that same day. According to him, working helped him to switch after the stress, although his girlfriend is still having a hard time dealing with the aftermath of the night attack.
The artist also urged Ukrainians not to ignore air raid alerts and to go to shelters every time during massive night shelling. He stressed that after what he experienced, he was even more convinced that a few minutes spent on the way to a safe place could save a life.
