Google submitted a plan for changes to the European Commission: how to avoid splitting the business

Google paid a fine of almost €3 billion
Google представила нові ініціативи для Європейської комісії: що потрібно для збереження єдиного бізнесу.

The corporation Google has presented a plan to modernize its advertising services for Europe, responding to a fine of 2.95 billion euros, which it received in September for abusing its monopoly position. The European Commission has given the company a two-month deadline to make changes, after which it will consider their proposal.

It is noteworthy that the decision of the European Commission has caused tension between the USA and Europe. President Donald Trump has expressed criticism and threatened to introduce new tariffs on EU products. At the same time, Google is facing antitrust issues in the United States, where a court has found violations in the advertising business.

The European Commission accuses Google of systematic abuse and offers a number of changes to regulate the situation, including allowing publishers to set minimum prices in auctions. Despite the conflicts, the company continues to seek new ways for growth, launching AI Plus subscription in Ukraine with powerful artificial intelligence tools.
