The government has set new gas prices for thermal power plants and combined heat and power plants: how it will affect tariffs

According to hvylya.net: The government has set new natural gas prices for energy companies. According to the Ministry of Finance, thermal power plants and installations producing heat and electricity will pay 21 thousand UAH for 1 thousand cubic meters of gas. Thermal power stations and CHP plants operating in the condensation cycle will have the opportunity to purchase gas at 16 thousand UAH for 1 thousand cubic meters.

The government aims to support the stability of the energy market and ensure transparent conditions for energy companies during the cold season with its pricing policy.

It is also worth noting that earlier gas suppliers had already announced prices for the next six years in order to ensure transparency and stability in the blue fuel market.
