According to hvylya.net: US President Donald Trump expressed a desire to reach an agreement with China regarding nuclear weapons reduction. He plans to discuss this topic during the upcoming meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea. Trump's statement on this was made on Wednesday in the Oval Office during a reception for NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

'I think we will make a deal, possibly even regarding nuclear weapons,' said the American president.

Trump emphasized the importance of reducing tension on the issue of nuclear weapons and expressed hope that an agreement with China will be reached. He also noted that Moscow had previously proposed to extend agreements on reducing nuclear arsenals, and considers it possible to conclude an agreement between the USA, Russia, and China regarding nuclear weapons control to stabilize international security.

In light of these statements, it can be assumed that the American administration intends to actively work on concluding agreements with China, Russia, and other countries in order to limit nuclear potential and create a more stable international environment in the area of nuclear security.
