A third of companies have fled Kyiv: where Ukrainian business is relocating
According to hvylya.net: Ukrainian companies are actively relocating their offices, and this applies not only to small firms. According to the Opendatabot service, more than 30% of all business relocations occurred outside the capital. The most companies have left Kyiv, but the most new businesses have been registered in the Kharkiv and Lviv regions.
In the first eight months of this year, there were 8345 business relocations in Ukraine, while almost 8000 companies changed their address within the country
Trade companies turned out to be the most mobile, making up more than 30% of all relocations. This indicates some instability in this sector. At the same time, agriculture and real estate also demonstrated active changes in location.
The question remains open as to what exactly prompts companies to make such relocations, but the overall trend towards regionalization of business in Ukraine is becoming increasingly obvious.
