On October 12, a cargo ship named Eileen sank in the Black Sea with 10 Ukrainian sailors on board who were planning to move from Turkey to Ukraine. The incident occurred approximately 260 kilometers east of the Bulgarian city of Varna when a hole was discovered in the ship, allowing water to enter.

«The rescue teams were the first to arrive at the scene. All 10 sailors were taken aboard another ship in satisfactory condition, with no serious injuries,» the source stated.

After the rescue, the Ukrainian sailors were delivered to the cargo port in Zonguldak province in northern Turkey. The reasons for the sinking of the ship are currently being clarified, and checks are being conducted for marine pollution following the incident.

Tragedy in Ha Long Bay

Additionally, in Ha Long Bay in Vietnam, at least 34 people died due to a tourist boat capsizing during a storm, and several passengers are still missing. Investigations into the event are ongoing.
