A 17-Year-Old Ukrainian Dies in Dublin: Police Arrest Suspect
According to glavcom.ua: A 17-year-old Ukrainian teenager died as a result of a knife attack in Dublin. Another boy and a woman were hospitalized with injuries. The incident occurred on Wednesday in the Grattan Wood residential complex in the Donaghmede area. This complex provides shelter for people in need, reported the Tusla agency.
Suspect in Murder Arrested
According to the Irish Independent, a 17-year-old boy from Somalia is suspected of the teenager's death. The suspect was arrested at the scene of the crime but was immediately taken to the hospital due to injuries sustained. The boy's condition is currently stable. Police are investigating whether the murder resulted from a confrontation between teenagers.

Since the end of summer 2025, more than 4.37 million Ukrainians who were forced to leave their homes due to the war have received temporary protection in various European Union countries. This number continues to grow every month, confirming that migration flows are not decreasing. As of August 31, 2025, the total number of individuals granted temporary protection has increased by 30,980 (+0.7%) compared to the end of July.
