The GUR assessed the stock of ballistic missiles in Russia in mid-July
According to hvylya.net: Russia is increasing its missile potential near the border with Ukraine. According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, there were approximately 300 ballistic missiles of the 'Iskander-M' and KN-23 types in Russia at the beginning of July. Of these, over 250 are 'Iskanders', and about 50 KN-23 missiles supplied from North Korea.
According to LIGA.net, Russian troops have deployed more than 60 launchers of operational-tactical complexes capable of launching these missiles near the border with Ukraine.
In May, the GUR reported a significant increase in Russian missile production: from 40 to 60 units per month.
The total stock of ballistic missiles for operational-tactical complexes was then estimated to be around 580 units.
It should be noted that by autumn, Russia will launch more than 1000 drones across Ukraine for reconnaissance purposes.
Russia is strengthening its military presence near the border with Ukraine by deploying more missiles and operational-tactical complexes. This may affect the security of the region and require attention from Ukrainian military and diplomats.
