The operation of trolleybuses on routes No. 5, 6, 7, 16, 18, 19, 23, 26, 28, 31, 33, 35, and 41 has also been temporarily suspended. Some transport has changed its routes:

  • No. 12 runs between the railway station "Central" and "Lybidska" metro station;

  • No. 31 travels to the railway platform "Kurenivka".

When will tram and trolleybus movement be restored in Kyiv

The KMDA clarified that movement will be restored after the stabilization of voltage in the power system. As of the evening, according to updated information, trolleybuses No. 5 and No. 41 have already returned to the usual schedule. Subsequently, the movement of routes No. 6, 7, 16, 18, 19, 28, 33, and 35 was also restored.

Energy workers explain that such outages occur due to network overload after Russian attacks on energy facilities. This leads to short voltage spikes, causing the transport infrastructure to automatically shut down to avoid damage to equipment.

The city authorities have called on residents to be understanding of the temporary inconveniences and emphasized that the restoration of urban electric transport movement will occur immediately after the stabilization of energy supply.

Earlier we reported that on October 20 in Kyiv, buses changed their routes.
