According to Главком: On July 1, around 11:30 PM, an unidentified individual fired nine rounds from a shotgun into the air on Shevchenko Street in Lviv. He then entered a Chrysler Grand Voyager and drove toward the town of Yavoriv. According to police, no injuries were reported as a result of the shooting.

Later, in the village of Birky, the same driver brandished a firearm and threatened a young woman. Authorities responded quickly to a call made to the emergency line '102' and apprehended a 40-year-old man from the Zaporizhzhia region, a former military serviceman. During the arrest, a pump-action shotgun and ammunition were seized.

Criminal Charges and Consequences

A criminal investigation has been launched under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which covers hooliganism involving the use of a weapon. The arrest was carried out in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

Separately, a shooting incident occurred in Mykolaiv, resulting in two fatalities. The circumstances of that event are still under investigation.
