The restored Steckevich villa opened in Lviv: now it is a youth space
The youth space and Plast home 'Steckevich Villa' have finally opened in Lviv. This took place during the festive events celebrating the new Plast year, which occurred last Saturday, September 20. The building was saved from demolition and restored - the news was spread by the Lviv city council through 'Glavkom'.
Now, 'Steckevich Villa', located at 213 Zamarstynivska Street, will serve as a place for meetings and the development of children and youth. Nearby, sports and playgrounds were set up, as well as an amphitheater, so that everyone could find something for themselves here. They even left an apple orchard in the yard.
This opening in Lviv was an important event, during which tours, a presentation of 'Plast' activities in the city, and a lecture-discussion on the role of youth in the development of Lviv took place. Soon, a Plast bonfire was lit in the yard of the villa to warm the hearts of the guests.
However, amid all this positive news, it is impossible not to mention the scandalous discovery of a listening device in the office of the mayor of Lviv. According to Andriy Sadovyi himself, such a device was found in his phone when he was 'communicating with various significant people'. The incident occurred during the repair when the phone started to behave strangely. This news will definitely leave many doubtful about the security of their phone conversations.
