The World Bank will allocate millions for Ukraine's logistics: what will happen
According to Міністерство інфраструктури: At the Ministry of Economic Development, a meeting was held with representatives of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) of the World Bank Group regarding the implementation of key projects in the field of transport logistics. Marina Denysiuk, Deputy Minister of Development, participated in the meeting on behalf of the Ministry of Development.
During the meeting, the 'RELINC' and 'DRIVE' projects aimed at developing transport logistics and creating infrastructure for vulnerable environments were discussed. Special attention was paid to the restructuring of the RELINC project to attract funding and increase the effectiveness of its implementation.
Development of the RELINC and DRIVE projects
RELINC is in the active implementation stage, and the procurement of equipment has already been concluded or is being finalized. A request for additional funding for Phase 3 through UIF and the possibility of obtaining grants for object protection was discussed.
The development of the DRIVE project was also discussed, particularly the installation of modular bridges, and arrangements were made for further cooperation and monitoring of their implementation. The Ministry of Economic Development plans to continue cooperation with the IBRD for the successful implementation of projects and ensuring the sustainable development of Ukraine's transport infrastructure.
As a result of the meeting with the IBRD, important projects in the field of transport logistics and step-by-step plans for their successful implementation through attracting funding were discussed. Support from international partners is crucial for the further development of the country's infrastructure.
