Reserve+ App Hit by Disruption

According to ХВИЛЯ: Ukraine's Ministry of Defense has confirmed that the Reserve+ app failed after a security certificate was automatically refreshed overnight. Some users running the earlier version of the app could not connect because of the revised security configuration and were unable to sign in. The ministry traced the start of the outage to roughly 03:00, when the automatic certificate update took place.

Fix Rollout and Service Restoration

A corrected version began to be distributed at 04:00. It reached Google Play at 06:30 and the App Store at 07:46. A surge of simultaneous logins then caused the system to become overloaded, and the problem was only cleared at 10:02, after a restart of the login infrastructure. To work through the accumulated requests, the ministry says it is adding capacity and adjusting system settings.

"We are adding capacity and adjusting settings so that accumulated requests can be processed more quickly," the ministry said.

Officials promised separate notice once authorization is fully back online and apologized for the disruption.
