A tent with Russian propaganda was dismantled in Warsaw and its organizer was sent for treatment

According to glavcom.ua: The removal of a tent with Russian propaganda slogans that stood against the US embassy for over a year turned out to be a complex process. The leader of the nationalist movement 'Sovereignty of the Polish People', Andrzej Zakrzewski, responsible for this tent, was sent for treatment to a psychiatric hospital. The city decided to remove the tent due to violations of constitutional rights.

The tent had been in the capital of Poland since September 2024 and contained gas cylinders inside, which posed a threat to the lives of local residents. At the request of the city authorities, work was carried out to dismantle the tent. The police, municipal services, and fire departments were involved, but Andrzej Zakrzewski resisted. As a result, the activist had to be sent for psychiatric examination to the University of Warsaw Medical Clinic.

Spread of anti-Ukrainian propaganda and anti-Semitic slogans

The tent organized by Andrzej Zakrzewski not only broadcast Russian and anti-Ukrainian propaganda but also spread anti-Semitic slogans. Leaflets were distributed depicting Putin as a victim of the war in Ukraine and accusing European politicians of interference. Slogans such as 'Anti-Polonism of the US-Israel' and 'Should Poland become a second Palestine?' also appeared on the tent.

Activist Andrzej Zakrzewski is known for his sympathy towards Alexander Lukashenko and his support for the idea of Poland withdrawing from NATO and moving closer to Russia. Yesterday, the President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, announced a possible visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Warsaw. Earlier, one Ukrainian was already arrested in a case of sabotage on the railway in Poland, accused of aiding Russian intelligence with the threat of punishment for facilitating criminal acts.

After the local authorities' struggle with the Russian propaganda tent in Warsaw, Andrzej Zakrzewski was sent to a psychiatric hospital. Thus, the dismantling of the tent that spread anti-Ukrainian and anti-Semitic propaganda in the city took place.
