In Zaporizhzhia, the movement of electric transport is changed until June 30 due to repair work
In Zaporizhzhia, from June 24 to June 30, the operation of some tram and trolleybus routes will be temporarily changed. The reason is emergency work at the "Oleksandrivska-1" substation, which will be carried out by "Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo". Restrictions will be in effect every day during daytime hours. This is reported by the KP "Zaporizhelektrotrans".
Which tram and trolleybus routes will change in Zaporizhzhia until June 30
Due to the repair work, from 07:00 to 15:00, the movement of trams No. 3 and No. 16 will be suspended on the section from Transport Square to the final stop "Zaporizhzhia-I Railway Station".
Trolleybuses on routes No. 8 and No. 14 will also temporarily not operate on the segment from the "Bus Station" stop to the "School No. 70" stop.
The restrictions will be in effect daily from June 24 to June 30 inclusive.
How trams and trolleybuses will operate in Zaporizhzhia until June 30
During the works, trams No. 3 and No. 16 will travel from Transport Square through Universytetska Street, Central Market, and Freedom Square, after which they will return to their usual routes towards the "Ukraine" shopping mall.
Trolleybus No. 8 will operate from Zaporizhzhia Square to the "Zaporizhzhia-I Railway Station" stop.
Route No. 14 will be partially serviced by trolleybuses with autonomous drive according to the approved routing scheme. Other vehicles will operate on a shortened route from the final stop "Naberezhna" to the "Zaporizhzhia-I Railway Station" stop.
Why the movement of electric transport is limited in Zaporizhzhia until June 30
"Zaporizhelektrotrans" explained that the changes are related to emergency work on Zaporizhzhia's high-voltage power networks at the "Oleksandrivska-1" substation.
Passengers are advised to consider the temporary restrictions when planning trips around the city and to check current information about public transport operations in advance.
It is worth noting that on the night of June 22, Russian terrorists attacked Zaporizhzhia twice, striking private homes and multi-story buildings.
