According to glavcom.ua: Ukraine handed over former Deputy Head of the Crimea Interior Ministry Nikolai Fedorian to Russia during the exchange. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to the 'Want to Return Home' project.

«On August 14, 2025, as part of the state project «Want to Return Home», collaborator Nikolai Fedorian left for the Russian Federation with the simultaneous return of Ukrainians who found themselves in Russian captivity before 2022,» the message states.

It is noted that Fedorian provided vehicles for transporting FSB officers and conducting illegal searches of Ukrainian citizens in temporarily occupied territories, their unlawful detention, and transportation to places of deprivation of liberty. Fedorian had previously received a sentence for state treason in October 2024 - 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.

We remind you that on August 14, 84 citizens returned to Ukraine from Russian captivity as part of the exchange, including military personnel and civilians. This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
