Ukraine and the EU Create a New Security System: What the Plan Entails

According to hvylya.net: A meeting took place in Kyiv between Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Hvozdyar and the heads of the European Affairs Committees of the EU member states' parliaments, led by the Vice President of the European Parliament Esteban González Pons.

The Ministry of Defense reported that the meeting discussed the security situation in Ukraine and the threats posed by Russian aggression to Europe, as well as the establishment of cooperation in providing military support to Ukraine from EU member states.

'Ukraine and the European Union are coming together to enhance security. We discussed the possibility of creating joint production capacities, developing modern defense technologies, and forming a reliable system for protecting the continent. This is an important step towards a long-term partnership capable of strengthening the security of every European country,' emphasized Hanna Hvozdyar.

The parties also discussed ways to expand cooperation between the parliaments of EU member states and Ukraine within the framework of the SAFE initiative and the ReArm Europe Plan/Readiness 2030, as well as joint production projects to enhance Ukraine's defense capabilities and overall European security.
