Political Consultations Between Ukraine and the Netherlands

According to МЗС: A round of political consultations between Ukraine and the Netherlands was held at the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 1, led by deputy foreign ministers. The talks focused on critical areas of cooperation, including security collaboration, European integration, financial aid, reconstruction efforts, and mechanisms to hold Russia accountable for its actions.

The Ukrainian delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Perebyinis, while the Dutch side was represented by Marcel de Vink, Director-General for Political Affairs at the Netherlands' Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The discussions covered several key topics:

• Enhancing security cooperation and collaboration under the PURL initiative;
• Ukraine's path toward European and Euro-Atlantic integration;
• Financial support for Ukraine;
• Strengthening energy resilience;
• Coordinating efforts for national reconstruction.

The Netherlands continues to provide vital military assistance to Ukraine, which includes air defense systems, aircraft, missile weaponry, and unmanned aerial systems. These consultations come at a time when Ukraine is actively seeking to bolster its defenses and rebuild amidst ongoing conflict.
