Ukraine Attracts Investment in Green Energy: Key Priorities
According to hvylya.net: The Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Roman Andarak, emphasized the importance of accelerating the decarbonization of industry through attracting international investments. During an online meeting with a UNIDO representative, he highlighted that Ukraine has defined priorities in the energy sector aimed at energy security and resilience, decarbonization of industry, the development of renewable energy, and innovative solutions.
'We are particularly interested in innovative technologies, from hydrogen and green ammonia to thermal storage systems, modern insulation, cutting-edge heating systems, and other digital solutions. These areas are key to Ukraine's green transformation, reducing our dependence on fossil fuels, and strengthening energy independence,'

During the meeting with UNIDO representatives, the results of research in the field of sustainable energy systems and innovative solutions to accelerate the decarbonization process of industry were discussed. Roman Andarak also encouraged the development of joint pilot projects and attracting investments in clean technologies to enhance Ukraine's energy independence and modernize the industrial sector.
